Land in Guangzhou.
We take it from there.

Airport pickup, hotels, interpretation, factory tours and Canton Fair support. When your business needs clarity, some things can only be settled by standing in the room — we make that trip work.

Why it matters

Some things you have
to see yourself.

There comes a point in most sourcing relationships where photographs and video calls stop being enough. You want to see the factory floor. You want to meet the person you have been emailing for a year. You want to walk the market and understand what your competitors are buying and at what price.

A trip to China costs a flight, a week of hotels and a week of your time. Buyers who arrive without a plan routinely spend two of those days working out transport, discovering the market they wanted is closed, and negotiating through a translation app.

We have been meeting buyers at Baiyun airport for years. The service exists because clients kept asking for it: first a pickup, then a hotel, then someone to come to the factory, until it became easier to simply offer the whole thing.

It is available whether or not you buy through us. If you want a driver, an interpreter and a planned week, that is work we are happy to do on its own.

What we arrange

Everything between arrivals and departures.

01

Airport pickup & transfer

接机服务

A named driver waiting at arrivals with your name on a board — at Guangzhou Baiyun (CAN), Shenzhen Bao’an (SZX) or Hong Kong (HKG). No haggling with taxi touts at midnight after a fourteen-hour flight.

  • Meet-and-greet inside the arrivals hall
  • Guangzhou, Shenzhen and Hong Kong airports
  • Private car, MPV or van by group size
  • Return transfer for departure
  • Flight tracked, so delays are covered
02

Hotel & accommodation

酒店预订

Booked near where you are actually going, not near a photograph. We know which districts put you twenty minutes from the markets and which put you ninety minutes from everything.

  • Hotels near Canton Fair, Zhongda, Baiyun or Foshan
  • Rates negotiated for repeat clients
  • Serviced apartments for longer stays
  • Rooms held during Canton Fair, when the city fills
  • Advice on which district suits your buying
03

Interpretation & translation

翻译陪同

English–Chinese interpretation by someone who understands sourcing vocabulary, not just conversational Chinese. There is a large difference between the two when the discussion turns to tolerances and payment terms.

  • Full-day accompaniment at markets and factories
  • Negotiation support, not just word-for-word translation
  • Document and specification translation
  • Basic French and Arabic support available
  • WeChat setup and supplier contact handover
04

Factory & market tours

工厂考察

A planned route rather than a wander. We map which factories and which markets are worth your days, arrange the appointments, and drive you between them.

  • Itinerary built around your categories
  • Appointments confirmed in advance
  • Transport between Guangzhou, Foshan, Dongguan, Shenzhen
  • Factory audit conducted while you are there
  • Samples collected and consolidated for you
05

Canton Fair support

广交会陪同

The Fair is enormous and the wrong phase is a wasted flight. We map the halls to your product, book the meetings, walk it with you, and follow up with everyone you met.

  • Phase selection and buyer registration guidance
  • Hall and booth shortlist before you arrive
  • Accompaniment through the halls
  • Follow-up with every supplier after you leave
  • Sample consolidation and shipping
06

Visa invitation support

邀请函支持

Where your visa application requires an invitation from a Chinese company, we can provide supporting documentation as your commercial counterpart.

  • Invitation letter for business visa applications
  • Confirmation of meeting schedule
  • Company registration documents where required
  • Guidance on which visa category applies
  • Note: we support the application, we do not process visas
A typical week

What five days can look like.

An example itinerary for a buyer purchasing building materials and furniture. Yours would be built around your categories.

Day 0

Arrival

抵达

Met at Guangzhou Baiyun arrivals, transferred to your hotel. WeChat set up, local SIM if needed, and a short briefing on the week ahead over dinner if you are not too tired.

Day 1

Foshan — tile and sanitary ware

佛山

Thirty minutes out. Two or three pre-arranged factory visits, then the Foshan ceramics and sanitary ware showrooms. Samples marked and collected as we go.

Day 2

Foshan Lecong — furniture

乐从

One of the largest furniture trading zones anywhere. A full day, with a planned route so you see the right buildings rather than the first ones you walk into.

Day 3

Guangzhou markets

广州市场

Whichever markets fit your categories — Zhongda for fabric, Baiyun for leather and bags, Yide for toys and stationery, Liwan for accessories.

Day 4

Review and negotiate

洽谈

Quotations compared side by side in our office. Terms negotiated, specifications written down, orders confirmed while you are still in the country and can settle a question in an hour rather than a week.

Day 5

Departure

送机

Transfer to the airport. Samples you have chosen are consolidated and couriered, or held for shipment with your first order.

Practical notes

Things worth knowing first.

  • Book early during Canton Fair. Hotel prices in Guangzhou rise sharply and availability disappears weeks in advance.
  • Bring WeChat, not WhatsApp. WeChat is how business is done here. We will help you set it up and add your suppliers.
  • Payment is mobile. Cash is increasingly awkward. WeChat Pay or Alipay linked to an international card makes the week far easier.
  • Google does not work. Nor does WhatsApp reliably, without a roaming plan or VPN. Plan your communications before you land.
  • Comfortable shoes. Not a joke — the markets and the Fair are measured in kilometres.
  • Allow a rest day. Buyers who land and go straight to a factory negotiate badly. Jet lag is real.

Questions

Before you book.

How much notice do you need?
Two to three weeks is comfortable for a full itinerary with factory appointments. Airport pickup and a hotel we can arrange with a few days' notice. During Canton Fair, book accommodation as early as you can.
What does it cost?
Airport transfer and accommodation are quoted at cost plus a stated handling fee. Accompaniment and interpretation are a fixed day rate. Where you place orders through us, we usually credit the accompaniment fee against the commission — ask and we will explain how that works for your trip.
Can you help if I am not buying through RAVORI?
Yes. Pickup, hotels, interpretation and factory accompaniment are available as standalone services. Plenty of buyers use us for a week and source independently.
Do you provide visa invitation letters?
Where your application requires an invitation from a Chinese commercial counterpart and we have a genuine business relationship or planned meetings, yes. We support the application; we do not process visas, and we cannot guarantee an outcome.
Can you meet me in Hong Kong instead?
Yes. Many buyers fly into Hong Kong and cross to Guangzhou or Shenzhen. We can meet you at HKG and arrange the crossing, though you will need the correct visa for mainland entry.
Do you travel with me to other cities?
Yes — Yiwu, Ningbo, Shanghai, Shandong and elsewhere when your categories are made there. Travel and accommodation for our staff are charged at cost.
